Pros

Positive work environment with genuine Agile practices: Britehouse provided an excellent environment to develop product ownership and delivery management skills. The company genuinely practices Agile methodologies—not just lip service—with proper sprint ceremonies, retrospectives, and continuous improvement culture. I was given significant autonomy to manage cross-functional teams and make decisions about delivery approaches, which built strong leadership capabilities. Technical excellence and modern tech stack: The technical teams are skilled and committed to quality. I worked with talented developers across mobile (Flutter), backend (.NET, C#), and cloud platforms (Azure). The emphasis on code quality, proper testing, and technical best practices created a professional engineering culture where people genuinely cared about building good software. Learning and growth opportunities: I was able to transition from Senior Developer to Product Owner, which demonstrated the company's willingness to support internal career development. The exposure to enterprise clients, SAP integrations, and complex technical projects provided valuable experience that strengthened both my technical and stakeholder management skills. Supportive colleagues and collaborative culture: The people at Britehouse are professional, collaborative, and genuinely helpful. Cross-team collaboration was encouraged, and there was a strong culture of knowledge sharing and supporting each other's success.

Cons

Project pipeline variability creates uncertainty: The business development pipeline can be inconsistent, which creates uncertainty around project continuity and team stability. Our team submitted 5+ proposals over several months without securing new work, which ultimately led to restructuring. While this is a reality of project-based consulting, it can be challenging for team morale and career planning when pipeline visibility is limited.
