Pros

Pension contributions are or were decent

Cons

Uninspiring, managers with their backpacks on ready to leave at 4.59pm. Poor management, lazy staff, lots of in fighting and politics. Hard to shake off old-school public sector vibes, including in relation to the way women and others are treated.

Old fashioned working through corporate gridlock

Pros

High wages - needed for staff retention

Cons

The overly corporate work processes make getting anything done boring and slow. Was bullied severely and left alone to manage it by the people who prewarned me of the problem. No one offered any assistance I even cried to HR who did nothing.
