Pros

- Great colleagues that are passionate about what they do - Free lunch per the client, not from BMG - Exciting, fast-paced work environment

Cons

- HR Management is unprofessional and degrading. If there were any issues in the company it was never "how am I going to fix this?" and instead shutting down any concerns from the employee with an answer along the lines of "well it just kind of is what it is." Never having a neutral or empathetic tone and instead was notorious for having a condescending and aggressive tone. Handling most situations in a very poor manner, so much that he carried a bad reputation amongst other co-workers. - Higher management unorganized, lack of mentorship and fostering of growth moreover Director of Talent/Producing. Carried a very poor attitude, not easy to work with and people complained about her general approach to minor issues around the office. - A lot of empty promises on the upper management's end: Stringing long time employees along with the promise that the future holds potential projects that were never had as well as a general lack of encouraging employees and incentivizing them in order to do better. - Zero company culture as HR and CEO are MIA the majority of the time and remain remote with the occasional pop-ins that make everyone anxious. - Quite a few solid people passed for promotions, general favoritism if you are a white male. - Lack of diversity amongst all departments moreover producers specifically white males are the dominant sex with one black female that is made to feel she has to work harder in order to stand out.

Pros

Good pay, decent benefits.

Cons

Broadcast Management Group has a history of event production, but daily news production is very different. Luckily, their client in Chicago is ignorant and naive. BMG just copies ideas from other broadcasts. They have no one with any vision. The leadership has no respect for production professionals. They hire and promote people with absolutely zero experience for the positions they fill. They don't understand how to develop and implement ideas. Anyone with production experience will be frustrated working for these charlatans.

Pros

Not many, but I do have to note that the middle management and tech teams are tremendous to work with. Really nice people and all very supportive during live show.

Cons

Too many to note. Please refer to the very first two reviews ever posted on here as they are completely accurate.
