Pros
The people here care a lot about helping others and making sure both patients and staff feel important. Leaders listen and are open to new ideas. Many jobs let you work on your own without someone always watching over you. There are nice extras at work that make the day better (coffee shop, onsite gym, cafeteria) and everyone works together like a team. The hospital is a big part of the community, which makes the work feel special.
Cons
Some processes at work are slow and confusing, which can make it harder to get things done. People aren’t always sure who is in charge of what, so teams don’t always work together as well as they could.

Collaborative work environment with opportunities for professional development (Students: ask about Build Dakota or Inspiring Health Sponsorship!). Senior leaders give middle management a lot of autonomy within their departments.
Cons
Staffing shortages and limited career advancement for non-clinical staff.
