Pros

nice inventory of equipment. free snacks.

Cons

owners are extremely rude and disrespectful. facility is overcrowded with equipment and there is never enough room to work according to the way they want processes done. they pound follow the process into your skull until its inconvenient for their management and then it all goes out the window. Lots of double talk. Very dangerous shop and external jobsites. injuries happen all the time. they treat employees like they are a piece of company equipment.

Pros

They will teach you everything you need to know from the ground up. "Cool" opportunities to work in all types of venues with the potential to tour eventually. Many hours to work.

Cons

A easy going week looks like working 40 hrs in the warehouse and 24 hrs working shows. However, event days are not eligible for over time, only in warehouse hours are eligible for over time. Warehouse work is hourly and Event work is based on day rate. Which in the industry it's a fairly low day rate. The company doesn't respect your time. Getting time off it typically met with "well this our busiest time of year" (which happens to be every month but December and January). The company has their own best intentions in mind, to a fault, the HR manager is anything but, they have gone through at least 3 HR managers in the past 3 years because they haven't "fit" the company culture, aka they were all too employee focused and appropriate for the work place. There is a distinct lack of boundaries through out the company as a whole, I do think they have gotten better through the years but they are still not up to what the standard should be. As far as growth within the company goes you can only go so far. They are not ones to hire from within. You can get small promotions to a certain point but very rarely any large promotions.
