Pros

None. I'm so glad I left.

Cons

They say they are a digital agency -- they are far from it. They pride themselves on great work and great client relationships-- they don't charge their clients for the majority of the work they do. No money = no raises. They say you get unlimited PTO, then casually write in their handbook that for people working there less than 1 year, it's actually 7 days. Talk about false advertising. Their office is disgusting, small, and smelly. There are so many more DIGITAL agencies in the city that are thriving, apply to those. Stay away from this one.

Thank you for the feedback. It's unfortunate to hear your experience was less than you'd hoped. We are working hard to improve in areas that need improving and smooth out rough edges. We are a work in progress and will continue to do what we can to be better. Couple of corrections: BG does not claim to be a digital agency. We have digital capabilities in house. We have had great success in our traditional work and will continue to deliver digital products where possible. Our PTO is unlimited and we ask that new hires in their first year (post 90 day probation) take time cautiously. BG's PTO policy has never been 7 days in year 1. We also offer 8 holidays, which includes the week between Christmas and New Years. There is no shortage of time off. Our managers are smart and motivated people. They do what is in the best interest of our people and clients. Decisions don't always make sense to everyone but that is the nature of business. Thank you for your time and service to BG while you were here and we hope you have found a place that allows you to grow and learn as much as you desire. Good luck.

Pros

Not a lot of micromanagement. Flexibility with work schedule Unlimited vacation

Cons

They constantly hire the wrong people for the wrong positions. They don't thoroughly look at what the open position is going to entail and hire for what they think it is going to be, not what it actually is going to be. This leaves a lot of people with the wrong skill set in the wrong positions.

Pros

Good people, in general. Lots of talent.

Cons

Not a lot of work gets off the ground because no one in accounts is willing to push back on the clients at all. PR exists in its own little creepy bubble (and their understanding of social media is really PR-slanted and old school) and the President/CEO is under paying the entire staff probably so he can add an extra wine bar to his basement.
