Pros
1) Passion for the product: I have never been at a company that has quite as much passion for the product. Every engineer or leader you speak to bubbles with this passion. I quickly learned that a lot of our Engineers were past customers and their love for the product was the reason that they joined Buildkite. 2) The people: Buildkite is the most welcoming and accepting company. Fro day one I was welcomed by the broader business with welcome arms. There is a desire to achieve and collaborate together and a distinct lack of ego around - people genuinely wanting to understand and know your perspective and seeking your advice. 3) The Leadership team: The Leadership team are new and working things out - however, the direction that they are bringing buildkite is incredibly exciting. The deeply care about the business, the employees and Buildkites success. I feel lucky to have them as a Leadership team.

With any scale up there is a certain amount of chaos as we move through change and set up operations.
