Pros

amazing co workers and you get to see lives health when you are able to breath past your mountain of paperwork

Cons

- For Christmas, they gave us cold lunch meat in the breakroom instead of our bonus. - For employee appreciation today they said they have "a big surprise for us"... cold pizza! - They will expect you to bill medicaid 25 times a week. That is the only thing they care about. This is an abusive amount of work for this level of pay and danger but that is the main focus of JC Davis and the overpopulated herd of bored managers you will have breathing down your neck. This means 25 appointments with mental health patience to help them with things like, not killing themselves, getting care providers and meds, doing the paperwork to get them insurance and phones and sometimes housing and detox and ID cards and any other stressful task in life. Once you have done all this they will force you to continue making up reasons to see the client and even do a “Coaching plan” with you where they literally “coach” you on ways to bill a client's insurance more than needed and still pass their audits. - They require you to get employee reviews but offer no raises to anyone based on anything other than making billing targets. - DURING COVID19 - When we asked for masks, they told us we can hear jeans They do not even respond anymore to case workers requests for masks when entering a home. - They do not allow caseworkers to follow the CDC 6 foot guideline and force us to transport clients in personal cars without masks to non emergency locations like getting a check up or annual lipid panel. - They expect caseworkers to see clients who fail covid19 screeners as long as their symptoms could possibly be excused as being due to smoking. - They do not provide proper covid training or even talk about the dangers of entering a home filled with pets and strangers and then not have access to water to wash your hands between homes. - They have given us no bonus - They have given us no raise - They will not cover an employee who gets sick beyond their current sick hour bank. - They expect us to donate our sick hours to each other rather than take care of its employees. - When we asked for more sick hours, They told us we can “order a Burrell hero shirt.” - If your life or personal health was affected while working for Burrell, please speak up. There is power in numbers and those of us still here need your voice.

Pros

Got a blanket and apple for Christmas last year

Cons

Biggest issue that would fix a lot of problems: too many new directors that don’t meet the minimum qualifications of their positions and are hired without proper education, experiences, knowledge, ethics, including not licensed professionals over licensed professionals. They lack leadership skills and rule with bullying and intimidation. If you are a professional provider that values being treated fairly and equally, keep looking you will not find that here.

Pros

Potential to fill a position you're not qualified for and to cultivate quid pro quo relationships with C-level leadership that leads to promotions.

Cons

Unqualified System Directors that project hostility caused by their own incompetence towards staff, co-workers, and partners.
