Miserable here

Pros

Dogs allowed at work here. Pretty location.

Cons

You get yelled a lot by Butler. Shine isn't really present at all. Horrible balance of work and life. Lots of micromanaging by anyone with a more senior title. Everyone is looking for someone to pass the blame...so don't even think about having a death in your family or you will take the fall for not being there. Senior management and hr act like they care but when it comes down to it unless you are one of the partners or top two creatives you don't mean anything.

Not worth it

Pros

Great accounts and some opportunity for good work if you're on the right account and CD. 70% of the people are nice.

Cons

Run by fear from Butler. Lots of turnover and people getting fired. The agency is VERY greedy and will underpay / overwork you. Very traditional in their work and ideas. They have no clue how to do good interactive work (just look at their website, it awful). Most the people who work there are miserable from the constant stress, fear of being fired and the crushing workload. 60+ hour work weeks are the norm. Not much opportunity for advancement internally.

Pros

Great opportunities to work on good accounts. Traditional advertising. Lots of TV being made. Great benefits. There are a lot of nice people who work there.

Cons

They will underpay you. They will overwork you. The culture is meh--unless you are super down with adults who went to prep school. A BSSP party is the epitome of pretend advertising fun.
