Pros
The animals are the main priority. All the employees and volunteers love and care for all of the shelter animals. Depending on how you look at it, it can be considered a positive that there are many opportunities to move up/around due to the extreme turnover rate.
Cons
If not in a leader position, employees are overworked and under appreciated. Upper management doesn’t care if employees stay or go, they see everyone as replaceable. It is extremely disheartening when you love the animals and what the company stands for. Employees are forced to choose between their love for animals and their own mental and physical health. You can express your concerns over and over to management, but ultimately nothing will change. *I feel it also says a lot when most of the positive reviews on here were done by current upper management employees..
