Regarding concerns about raises for the Outsourcing (Virtual Assistants) team, it's important to note that these are not granted automatically and require specific justification. Requests go through multiple departments, including your department manager, outsourcing manager, finance, and HR. We assess not only your performance but also the market value of your position and work with consultant agencies to ensure fair pay rates. We understand it may seem like a lengthy process, but it's crucial for acting in everyone's best interest. We strive to maintain transparency in our processes. Last February, we communicated an enhanced benefit package to our Outsourcing (VA) Team, outlining the criteria and timeline for salary increases. If you were with us at that time, you should have been informed. Additionally, we are transparent about pay rates at the time of hiring. It's uncommon for raises to be requested within the first year of employment, as this is not typical market practice. Your input is valuable as we continuously work to improve our practices for all team members.

Pros

Coworkers make this place special, being apart of a young, likeminded team is nice when entering this industry. If you’re fresh out of college this is a good job to get your feet wet while looking for an actual career.

Cons

Upper management (especially HR) continuously made questionable decisions and disrespected employees. Although this place was fun in the beginning the honeymoon phase ended real quick and it became a toxic environment. New upper management with little experience made numerous rounds of let-gos for what seemed like anyone who was slightly outspoken about the rapidly changing work atmosphere. Lastly, being an Analyst in the marketing department was painfully boring, we met quotas and followed management approved task sheets. The job never changed from week to week and provided little to no mental stimulation.

Since 2021, we initiated a restructuring process, bringing in experienced managers to help establish a professional environment and set fruitful goals for our company and team. This approach may have clashed with our previous strategy of hiring team members without industry experience, as they were more inclined towards seeking comfort zones. We're surprised by your opinion of the lack of mental stimulation in your role as an Analyst. We value initiative and opinions that bring results. We understand the importance of providing engaging and fulfilling work, and we continuously explore ways to enhance job roles and responsibilities to offer more opportunities for growth and development.
