Thank you for your feedback, though unfortunate this is a surprise and so angry, we do believe all input is an opportunity for learning. I do not feel it is merited to defend all points you put up here, as I disagree and am even confused by some, but most importantly your voice is yours and you have that right. One topic I will tackle specifically, however, is the culture comment, because I am very proud of our completely employee volunteer run culture club. They work hard, care a lot, and want everyone to feel included. I understand this type of tight knit community may not be for everyone, but it is for bsg. What we hope for whoever this is, is that you have found a good place to be for you personally in this next step of your journey, and you find joy with your new environment.

Pros

Working in retail is exciting, fast paced, demanding, and challenging of your passion for growth and development.. bsg finds a way to care about culture and employee development as well as challenge team members to elevate themselves, their performance, their contribution to the team environment, and excel in service and brand integrity. I say work hard, play hard is a good phrase for this environment. There is a lot of emphasis on training as well, and they do care about employees and vendors alike beyond just the work we do.

Cons

This type of environment is not for everyone. Since the culture and team work is so integrated and the deadlines and work is fast paced, it is not conducive for remote working, though management is extremely flexible for family priorities and time off.

Pros

Some talented coworkers who were doing their best in a difficult environment. Many fled as fast as possible

Cons

I strongly advise anyone considering this company to think twice- DONT DO IT! The CEO is extremely disorganized, frequently changes direction, and often contradicts herself — which makes it nearly impossible to know what’s expected from day to day. Promises made during the interview don’t reflect the reality once you’re hired. The environment is chaotic, and leadership often communicates in a condescending and unprofessional manner. Confidential conversations are not treated with respect, and there’s a lot of gossip coming from the top. It’s one of the most stressful and untrustworthy workplaces I’ve experienced, and I couldn’t leave fast enough.
