Pros

The owner is not a college graduate. He pays less than minimum wage to take advantage of MSU students. He will scream and yell and blame you for his own mistakes. He is a terrible business man and a terrible boss

Cons

All cons. Nothing good. Get a job within MSU where you can network with accredited professionals. STAY AWAY

Pros

My experience at CR Marketing was challenging, but it did help me better understand my worth and the type of work environment I want to be in moving forward.

Cons

There were several concerns around workplace culture and structure. Communication felt heavily monitored, with one shared email across the organization and limited autonomy in day-to-day tasks. We were not allowed to keep personal notes, and materials like agenda books had to be returned daily and were reviewed, which created a lack of trust. The environment itself could be intense, with frequent yelling and unprofessional behavior, including calling team members names in front of others. While there were some positives, like shared team lunches, even those came with added pressure as employees were expected to prepare them. Overall, the experience reinforced the importance of a respectful, transparent, and supportive workplace culture.
