Pros

Frequent international trips , exposure to learning about the industry, parties, CAPA events attracts the who's who of aviation, a lot of learning about aviation industry. It is a consultancy so not meant for core operational people. Will learn how to think like a consultant.

Cons

Salary delays of more than 4 months at a time- consistent issue going on for years but management says there are delays "sometimes", company refuses to answer emails about when salary will be given they disappear, management expects every employee to approach them separately to ask for salary, has not paid taxes for two yrs, EPF unpaid for yrs, no work-life balance - without salaries employees work till 4am for the "learning", none of the benefits in HR manual have been implemented for 2 years (you can ask HR during interview process), poor performers are promoted if they are "loyal", if you are employed here you cannot get a loan because you will find out that GST is blacklisted, office rent has not been paid for months. A dream of a great future is sold whenever you question management. Haven't seen that future vision even 10% fulfilled.

Pros

Good exposure in terms of interaction with a cross section of aviation value chain professionals. Every year the office is taken out on an international offsite trip which is good. Good work life balance.

Cons

Hardly much live project exposure. The company is one of the few you will find on earth which does not operate as per any plan but wants to earn a profit. Outlook of the Indian office is at best parochial especially due to lack of vision of the Management and desire to empower its company officials to get projects for the company. Worst organization as far as remuneration is concerned and no clarity in terms of planning one's career. One of the few companies i have seen where almost everyone including the CEO always talks of quitting from his job. They usually end up hiring smart people for below average nature of work resulting in too much resentment amongst employees and very high attrition.

Pros

- Good brand name in India - Excellent projects - Countless opportunities to gain knowledge in different areas -Excessive focus on training, aviation as well as other skills -Immense knowledge pool within the organization -Travel opportunities - domestic & international -Lots of perks - food, fun-leisure trips, parties, paid offs, company sponsored trainings -People with aviation background or big 4s experience get special treatment & respect -Nonperformers can also plan their retirement from here

Cons

Confused company with a hoard of intrinsic issues - 1. Salary & arrear delays, therefore demotivated staff. The need for salary can not be replaced with a desire for doing good work. 2. Highly disorganized functions, although management has put up a structure for teams, but management doesn't respect/ adhere to those structures. 3. Sham organisational processes/structures- - Hierarchy structure within teams is for namesake, all decisions are taken by the management. Decentralization is just on papers - Opportunities planning decisions all in management's hand, so if you want to excel in the company, you know where to put your energy! - Appraisal - Again, TL/PL waste their time in writing forms, no heat is paid to that in the end. Zero transparency & communication from management. -Redundant designation has been introduced so as to keep a few near & dear ones happy. -Lacks respect for genuine hard workers, opportunities & praise for fake ones. Mantra for success - Cry out in front of management, gain sympathies and you will reach heights in a year's time. Management - despite having so many good offerings, the environment is hostile and lacks mutual respect.
