      Make Sure You Know What Your Getting Into

      Pros

      The company is very understaffed. You will be asked to perform many responsibilities, which makes CBC Companies an ideal place to get experience, and then move on to another organization.

      Cons

      Pretty much everything. Owners are extremely arrogant and conceited. Obsessed with hoarding money. Other reviewers are correct that they are very controlling and sales dept. must sell to keep their job. I will tell you why that is. It is because CBC Companies is essentially a front for selling drugs and prostitution. Almost all of their legitimate companies are failures. You can't believe anything they tell you. Thinks they can get away with fraud and deceit. The company hacks into the home computers of its employees to monitor them, and prevent them from leaving the company. CBC Companies runs a scam in which they "steal" job opportunities. Too good to pay taxes. if you leave the company, they will harass and stalk you to get you to come back. Best to just steay clear of this place.

      Pros

      Exposure to different functions, ability to learn skills, which is helpful for future jobs at other organizations.

      Cons

      Lack of consistency within the organization, there is no clear guidance or goals from upper level management. Average wages are low, no pay grades/bands, benefits are minimal. The culture is conservative and often out of touch, generally most people are not happy working for this organization. Many unqualified people in key roles, poor communication, many processes/procedures/policies are unclear and often lack consistency. Lots of group think within the organization, the culture does not often encourage new ideas or open communication. Employees are not highly valued, high turn over, lots of gossip and rumors among employees.

      Keeping the community on welfare one paycheck at a time

      Pros

      I no longer work there. Managers took so many smoke breaks you didn't have to deal with them so much.

      Cons

      I spent 10 years of my life working under some of the most incompotent management and leaders. That I knew more than my manager 2 months into the job and 10 year employees came to me for answers to work I barely knew should say all there is. People making $9 were expected to dress "professionally," which meant ties on the men (with un-ironed pants, no less), yet they paid so little, most employees were on welfare. Nice financial contributions to the community.
