*cracks knuckles in preparation* Here we go:
–The management does not care about the employees' mental health or whether or not they are being abused on a daily basis (which they are)
–You are underpaid for the amount of work you are requested to do
–There is little to no credit given to you when you do go above and beyond
–Comaplaints that are filed are ignored
–Upper management looks the other way when mid-management yells at, swears at, and verbally abuses the employees who are under them
–You end your day feeling worthless due to the way you have been treated on a daily basis
–The atmosphere and culture is toxic and cruel
–Not a week would go by that the women who worked with me in CBO would either cry at work, go home and cry, or feel so pressured and stressed about their underpaid job that literally all of us suffered mentally in some way
– For a company who thinks so highly of themselves and thinks themselves to be a leader in company culture and in health care overall, the way that they allow their employees to be abused—and yes, it 100% is abuse that their employees endure—is appalling.
Look: I can go on and on about how horrendous and cruel this company is. And maybe it is unfair to say that every department at CBI experiences these things (CBO certainly did). But Glassdoor is a place where people can go to read about employees past experiences and receive honest opinions and insight. I was not planning on leaving this, but it became clear that the last few positive reviews were written by current management employees in an attempt to boost the company's image. CBI is lying about what they can d for you, what they can offer you, and what they want to do to help you. They do not care about you, they do not want to help you, they do not want to compensate you fairly; they want you to shut up, do as they say, and tow the company line all while they yell, swear, and abuse you. Sure, I will concede that not everyone who works for CBI may agree with my opinion or experience, but if you want to work for an employer who borderline tortures their employees and then lies about their culture on Glassdoor, then, by all means, apply for a job with this abusive, cruel, disastrous company. Just be aware that you are signing up with a dictatorship and, in doing so, will lose a piece of your soul and a huge chunk of your self-confidence.
