The pay is ok, colleague and leaders are nice, not too stressful, get to know a lot of people and listen to their story

Feel like you are a nobody and nothing you do actually matters or will make a true difference, could be suffocating if you actually want to do something with your life

Benefits are great, people are nice, prestigious global news organization, opportunities to grow, stable and developing a unique voice in a crowded news industry.

Cons

Management is pretty clueless editorially. Upper management is so disinterested and disconnected from employees that morale is lousy, people feel unappreciated, there's no team-building and most of the newsroom would quit today if a better opportunity arose elsewhere. It's hard to care when you don't feel cared about.
