      The worst professional experience I've ever had.

      Pros

      The only advantage is the location of the offices. You can easily get there by public transport. And you have views of the whole of Barcelona from the office.

      Cons

      They don't understand the concept of digital design/product/service and they don't want to understand it either. They are only interested in submitting as many competitions as possible to win projects, without working correctly on these future projects. In the end it is an old school agency with account managers closing projects and budgets without having digital knowledge.

      Pros

      - Majority of the coworkers are nice - Lots of young colleagues keeping the atmosphere vibrant - Some initiatives trying to improve social aspects at work and work-life balance

      Cons

      - Micromanagement on a level never seen before - No leadership but dictatorship (you cannot really negotiate with your boss) - Academic education is not valued at all - High turnover rate (signaling something?) - Inadequate onboarding - Established workflows and IT solutions does not enable seamless and efficient collaboration within or across departments - Insufficient salary

      people who do the actual work but so many leaving, or want to Used to have a nice location. No longer do.

      Rigid, hierarchical and unprogressive way of thinking “Lucky to work here” mentality Unwilling to change or evolve Praise subservient employees, actively discourage discussion and hate being challenged Only care about presentism and making money False advertising as “international” - short-sited, local mind set Outdated and old fashioned wfh/holiday/ general policies Distrust employees Inadequate systems, and beyond basic IT services and equipment Don’t respect or value staff
