Pros

Casual dress, work from home options. Driven to succeed employees are the best asset this company has.

Cons

Benefits are slowly being cut. Increases are very poor. Cost of living continues to go up yet 1% increases are standard.

We also realize the value in allowing employees to flex their schedules and balance their personal lives with their work priorities. We completely understand your concern with the increases and that has been a point of emphasis for our executive staff. Hopefully you realized a bigger increase in this last review period than you have in past years. This will continue to be a priority as we realize growth in our diversification efforts. As with most companies our benefits will continue to be reviewed on an annual basis. Pros

Coworkers & direct management are great. New challenges every day. There is no shortage of things to do. Flexible schedule. Occasional opportunities to work from home.

Cons

Corporate politics. CEO, CTO, CFO, and upper management are puppets for the parent company Hearst buying time padding their resumes until their next venture. CDS VPs used to care. Employees are fed lies about booming profits while clients continue to leave and employees are let go. Talented employees are encouraged to look elsewhere for career advancement opportunities and when they leave management wonders why. We're told that we are "expendible commodities". Benefits are gradually being reduced.

Pros

Teams work well together. You see bright people who are dedicated to finding solutions even though there are no training programs and we work on legacy platforms. Good benefits for full time employees. Relaxed atmosphere.

Cons

Primary revenue coming from magazine business which is in a free fall. Very little investment in the business. Lots of turnover.
