It’s a call center

Pros

This one is tough. There seems to be a lot of “pros” at first but it quickly turns.

Cons

Micromanagement, of which is often wrong. Call center. They say it’s not, but it absolutely is. Extremely low pay. Low quality employees are often overly empowered in pseudo-leadership roles. Inequitable benefits. Repetitive base level worked being disguised as “HR”. High turnover with zero change.

Best Employment Experience

Pros

This job had tons of support throughout, and a flawless training process. The work hours are great and I never had to work weekends. They take work-life balance very seriously, but still offer multiple opportunities for professional development. They take care of their staff and are very accommodating and understanding when employees have outside demands that interfere with work. The work is rewarding and fun.

Cons

It’s a growing company, so there are a few hiccups here and there. I only left because I was offered a job that was more in line with my career goals.

Believe the negative reviews, but with a grain of salt

Pros

Some coworkers are friendly, casual dress, some get to being dogs to work, free drinks, centrally located. Not the worst place to work... But not the best.

Cons

Believe the lower reviews over the high ones. Reading through everything recently, it seems like the same one or two people are either posting the positive reviews or the negative ones. They say the same things over and over. However i can say with certainty that the positive reviews are all management or those who "drink the cool aid" and not genuine. The recent negative are very disenchanted people but they are giving you a more legitimate look at what its like there. The CEO is overly involved, micromanaging, and has his favorites. Management does over promise and under deliver, both to members AND to employees. They will under pay you and offer terrible benefits dressed up as better because they offer "work life balance". Tenured employees have too much power, which makes being a new employee very uncomfortable. If you do end up working here plan to stay for a stint but not long. You really won't want to anyway.
