Pros

1) You will be given leadership and responsibility -irrespective of your age and experience if you do well. 2) Subsidized cab and food rates. 3) Frequent company and team outings.

Cons

1) Too much of work pressure - due to limited team members and strict deadlines. Limited team members to save money for the company and strict deadlines to make the clients happy and you are screwed with hell lot of work. 2) Unstable clients - It is a start up founded 3 years ago and still they do not have strong and stable client base. 3) No Job Security - You are fired at any moment. An employee is recruited whenever a company gets a client with new requirements. Since the client is new, the client gives only a small chunk of work. You must satisfy him all alone because mostly you will be the only team member and the technology you are working will be either new or you will be the first one to work on it in this company. Sometimes the client is not happy or the client is not happy with the billing rates, etc. The client will immediately stop working with you and the company cannot pay you so you are fired immediately, same day or the next day. I have seen instances where employees are fired after two days of their joining. 4) Not employee friendly - you will be always told that you are working in a employee friendly company and the company will always see to satisfy its employees but I have never seen an instance where an employee is satisfied. The employees are just fooled by saying that he is working in a employee friendly company. 4) The Admin, BD and HR department are forced to work for only company benefits and the employees are screwed. 5) No Standard company policies - The company will have policies when you join and will change them the next day without any notice. They will change them according to their benefits. 6) The people in top management are useless and don't have a vision for the future but they will act and talk like Steve Jobs. They will talk, talk and talk but will never provide any solution to your problem. 7) The company strongly believes that they can turn a fresher into an architect in 2 to 3 years without providing any guidance of a true architect. 8) Useless monthly meetings where employees can bring in their concerns but remember whatever you bring forth the MD you tell you this is a small or common problem or the problem does not make sense. MD will talk for hours but will never resolve your problem. At a point of time he becomes the bigger problem.

A declining culture

Pros

There was a time, when the company's culture was very much conducive for growth and career development. As of date, the only Pros I see are that you will get paid on time and the developer community (junior & senior developers) are really talented and great to work with. Can't say the say for the leadership.

Cons

I was part of the leadership and I am ashamed to say that the company's culture has seen a steady decline. After spending almost 8 years with the organization It was a tough decision on my part to move out. But the contributing factors were too strong that it made my decision to step down very easy. The company culture is not at all favoring career growth. The leadership which i was also a part of was mostly about satisfying the ego of a few selected people rather than towards working for the benefit of the delivery team. The MD is just favoring his one selected person and has made him the Director and is blindly following him. To satisfy this one person's ego, he has broken too many people. The way the leadership is structured I felt it was not right to continue as part of that team. Not naming people, but there are a few more really deserving people who have contributed to this company but the MD has decided to favor his favorite person because the deserving people don't follow him blindly. Overall I truly wish this company success, but they need to take some steps to stop these politics. For an organization of this size, the amount of politics played by the Director of Delivery, HR and the MD is way too toxic.

Pros

Food (with no quality) Cab (deducted from your salary)

Cons

Hire and fire policy is always at priorty Zero growth (always fear of job losing) No projects (while joining they will give all sorts misleading facts projects done in past and once you will join, you get POC to do and then if no projects are there, they will fire within 3-4 months) Bussiness development will do project handling and will make false commitments to clients. Overall not a good place to work at.
