Pros

Plenty of work coming in the door, most coworkers are fantastic people.

Cons

Regardless of promises and policies, no bonuses at CFC. Employees are overworked and are actually expected to work overtime as personal life means nothing. No room for career development, employees are held only in positions that they perform best; employees will not be given opportunities to learn new areas of construction. Office has a really uncomfortable 'micro-management' vibe that trickles out to the job sites.; always walking on eggshells; not free to come and go as you need to without someone making a loud and nosy remark.

Good job-site trailer setup with snacks and proper working space.

Cons

Working for CFC Construction 10 hour days are mandatory, but you are expected to go above and beyond that. Most employees in the field arrive at the jobsite at 6 am and usually leave at 6pm. The company has a very high turnover rate because they burn people out. CFC id obviously in over their heads trying to build projects that are too big and understaffed. I have worked for other local general contractors and CFC is by far the worst and most difficult one to work for. This is definitely a place where people work in fear.

Pros

Salary is good, but that is all you will get. Company does poorly on raises due to the company loses money every 4 to 5 years and cannot afford raises or bonuses.

Cons

Don't waste your time working here. Company has been in business for over 40 years and it is poorly managed by a owner who only looks out for his own interest.
