Pros

CHN has a great mission and has a great impact on the region. Some parts of the culture are great- there are some employee resource groups & an onboarding committee to get folks accommodated into the company’s culture fairly quickly

Cons

Depending on the department you work in, the culture can be extremely toxic. There are many people in leadership positions that blame their staff for issues that are systematic. Leadership doesn’t listen to problems you face with discrimination and disrespect from colleagues. The pay is lower than you’re worth but nothing outlandish for a 501c3

Pros

The pros are to few to mention.

Cons

This agency does not provide training and expect you to be able to conduct business. When asked for training, one director’s response was if she did it without training, you should be able to also. What makes it even more disturbing is this director has a background in education!
