Pros

Its a good company with great mission. Good for developers, but not for other job roles. If you are not technical person, your opinion does not matter much.

Cons

Everything depends on which manager you get. My manager had god complex and she was more interested in her own name and highlight instead of helping team. Onetime there was issue in meeting where honestly she was also equally wrong. When i said i am also handling other works, she shouted at me in front of the team that "remember we are paying you for it". Like she is giving salary from her own pocket. It was demoralising and i did not expect this from senior person. She was very cunning too. People she did not liked, she will go and tell bad things about them to higher management.

Pros

Reasons why you should join- 1. If you are someone who prefers a structured routine, avoids questioning processes, you may find this place manageable. The hybrid model does offer decent work life balance. 2. Developers generally receive fair compensation, and technical roles tend to get more respect. 3. If you genuinely need a job, this can be a stable place. Just be clear about what you are signing up for and set your expectations accordingly.

Cons

1. Promotions and compensation-Promotions can take several years, and are often without compensation.Sadly there are no yearly performance reviews, no proper growth discussions, no room for negotiation or salary correction. If you are planning to join, clearly negotiate your contract . 2. Management - This is specific to my team.there is no one neutral you can approach if you have concerns. Management quality depends heavily on who you report to. The tone of communication feels disrespectful or controlling. It can feel like speaking up or trying to grow is discouraged. Over time, people stop speaking up and eventually leave. 3.Professional growth and recognition- There are no real growth opportunities to grab or a ladder to climb. There is no culture of appreciation, not materially and not even verbally. Many have spent years, even a decade, here and left without even without a farewell or even a simple thank you. 4. Health insurance- On paper, they provide an insurance. In reality, no employee seems to have any documents or even a name of the insurer. The coverage is extremely basic. There is no OPD, no dental, no optical. If you ever have a real emergency, you might struggle. Parents are not covered either, even if you are unmarried. Team building and social engagement- There is almost no networking or social culture. Once in a while, there might be a dinner, especially if bosses from the US are visiting. Apart from that, nothing much. There are rarely any casual gatherings or events. Moreover company does not sponsor any upskilling workshops, conferences etc
