Pros

- The people you get to work with every day. - Easy to chat with anyone in the hierarchy. - Fresh ideas from newcomers might change for the better the way the company is currently leading.

Cons

- Salaries are the lowest in the region for tech jobs. - Usually salaries dramatically decrease over time when translated into any stable currency (like USD) when the local currency receives a hit (forget about paying off your debts or going on vacation if you are here on an unstable period). - Organization is messy, clumsy and all in all lacking character and initiative. - no backup plans, impromptu is the policy for core topics that affects the employees on their work agenda (local servers, testing devices, work equipment, network configuration, ISPs). - Work essentials are missing, there are cumbersome procedures in place to solve daily issues like internet stability, upgrading specs like RAM or changing your broken headset. - most of the perks of software factories are non-existent or hard to get, like work from home on regular useful basis, portable computers / laptops, or discounts of any kind. - the office is enclosed and gloomy. No garden, no green areas, no place to smoke a cigar or breath fresh air, no common leisure areas or facilities (or old and crippled). Group activities are not usually encouraged. - could literally keep going forever.
