Pros

No pros.....only cons. The company logo itself symbolizes "DANGER AHEAD"

Cons

Cons................there are many. Can actually write an essay on it. Very low salary - they pay peanuts, No career growth, Fake promises made by management ( Do not believe a word they say during the interview), Bad work environment, Office politics to the core, Useless mentors, No HR structure, Mental torture, They make you do a truckload of work and everything is urgent, No holidays - they make you slog. Do not join this company even if you remain unemployed for a few years. The company has very high attrition rate..... everyday someone or the other escapes from this hell. Remember: This company sucks to the core

CMIE - Only for freshers

Pros

Great work life balance. Only during Quarter/year end will have to wait back a bit. Saturday Sunday off. But management was thinking of keeping work on saturday as well Great salary if you are really really good. But that almost never happens. Otherwise salary is still decent. Only good for freshers to learn and leave within a year or two. You can get immense knowledge from the company's products which can help you in your future career but you have to do this in your time. Nice Infrastructure and washroom.

Cons

No HR. No canteen. High Attrition. Most people hate the job. People working in company for 4-5 years can be also be fired anytime even if you do your job well so no job security (Cost cutting) No public Holidays. Only 3 holidays in a year (Independence day, Republic and Diwali). Paid leaves are very low in the start (11.5) but increases every year you work there. But as usual its bad if you actually take your leaves. Hike determined by CEO and your product manager. You have no say in it. Unless seniors are exceptionally good they will get fired as new freshers will take their place. CEO and Management brings new changes in work on trial basis and then later after few months scraps the entire thing. This has happened so many times. You cant talk loudly during breaks, you cant laugh loudly but its ok if the product heads do it. They even broke down the pantry door so that people do not disturb others by talking loudly in the pantry. What an amazing logic. Whatever you write in your article is never ever good. If you listen to your seniors and make changes in the article based on their advice, even that isn't good.

Pros

CMIE stands as the cornerstone of my post-MBA career journey, marking my initiation into the professional world. This was my campus placement and I couldn't be more thankful for doing my first job after MBA in this organization. With over four decades of establishment, CMIE has traversed the evolution from manual operations to the forefront of today's AI-driven landscape. It has a good learning curve if you want to start your career in Financial Database Solutions or Economics. Under the guidance of Chinmay Phansikar, I underwent a transformative three-year tenure. Beyond mastering the nuances of end-to-end sales, Chinmay imparted invaluable lessons in ethics and communication. Witnessing Chinmay's adept leadership, I observed his team burgeon from a mere duo to a formidable group of ten. His meticulous approach to nurturing talent, elevating individuals from sales executives to esteemed AVPs, stands as a testament to his mentorship prowess. I owe a significant portion of my professional growth to Chinmay Phansikar's mentorship and leadership during my tenure at CMIE. My heartfelt gratitude extends to both CMIE and Chinmay Phansikar for their instrumental roles in shaping my career trajectory.

Cons

No cons as such for self-starters or mid-career.
