Pros

I honestly have zero things that come to mind as a "pro" for this company.

Cons

In the time I was employed by CMIT of Everett, I watched the entire staff leave or get fired over and over. Had experienced staff come in and quit in the same week because they hated the way management spoke to them. The management team would verbally insult their staff. Stooping as low as calling a very brilliant member of staff, autistic. Staff are overworked and not compensated for overtime (per federal law for tech workers, overtime is required) My checks were often short. Their pay periods often span from one month to the other. One work period was 80 hours, I got paid for 77.3. Pay is also below industry standard. Management are not tech experienced and think work is done by snapping your fingers. If a project takes 5 hours, and not done in 1.5, you're in trouble. You're just spoken down to on a daily basis. You're treated as a tool and not a valued member of staff. Customers were often left in a lurch due to management not being around to approve things. Employees were not allowed to talk to each other. Need to relax for a few minutes because of a stressful day? Nope, you have management rushing from their office to tell you to be quiet. There are tiers of staff. Sometimes service desk will run into issues that need escalation. You had to ASK PERMISSION to talk to a higher level engineer. I was even yelled at for saying HI to one while walking out the door. Management also watches you on camera to ensure you're working. Feels like a prison camp.

Pros

The tech team is quirky and fun. They completely understand customer service. If ownership stays out of the daily ops it can be a blast.

Cons

Pay across the board is well below industry averages. St. Louis office has 3 owners and direction can be confusing. Ownership only thinks of the bottom line and employee satisfaction is not even on the radar. Internal promotion does not happen.

Pay is at or above market according to data from Payscale and ZipRecruiter, as well as other third party data sources we rely on for Salary data. Employee mentoring happens monthly and we have a very open communication culture based on our values. Internal promotion does and will continue to happen. Regarding terminations, we do have certain documented non-negotiable requirements that will cause an immediate firing. We are proud of our values and culture and invite anyone to visit our St. Louis office to meet our phenomenal team.
