Pros

The company is somewhat flexible and the benefits are good.

Cons

The CEO / President AKA Glenn Cosman is a no show CEO who will lie to your face, insult your competence or belittle you in front of your customer or other employees. Be careful when you sign the employment agreement that states your compensation can change because they mean it. It is hard to see someone who is the president of this business care so little about their customers. It is even harder to see the same happen with employees.

Pros

Its been a while since I was employed by CMS, and I can't say if things have changed in this time. However, I wanted to put forth a very honest review of the company as I think it helps. Salary: The salary was fair. I was around for the 10% pay cut that had upset many other reviewers. This pay cut certainly hurt, but I actually really admired the company for doing it. It wasn't perfect, but the cut was equal for everyone. For those who remember how bad those times (2008 crash) were, I respected the solidarity that management demonstrated in the cut. Some have posted that this money hasn't returned as the economy settled which would be unfortunate, but I can not speak to the validity of the claim. Employees: The employees at CMS are terrific. If there is one thing I miss it is the employees. They are all close knit, friendly and ready to laugh. Most days I genuinely looked forward to going to work simply to interact with such a great bunch of people. Management: One's experience with Management varied widely depending on the manager you received. My manager was Tim Murphy. My experience with Tim was always positive. I found him to be a really good person. He was a bit more 'hands-off' than other managers, but that really worked for me. If things came up he was always willing to help. Most importantly, I actually think he cared about his employees which isn't true of a lot of managers I've had over the years.

Cons

The biggest issue facing CMS was the inability to change. This may have changed since my time, but I would be surprised. They had a formula for how they handled things which kept them going but never growing. This was a huge issue if you wanted to advance in the company or your career. Management seemed content to use the same methods of acquiring costumers which meant a lot of leads just cycled through the system over and over. This created significant issues for new employees as they would be receiving leads that would only go back into the cycle.
