Pros

Not much... the co-workers are great people to work with and I added one year of work experience on my resume.

Cons

Where to start? Just like another reviewer said the "happy workers" at CMS were pressured by Josh to write their positive reviews. He is also having people write good reviews right after lay-offs strategically to counter bad reviews, for example: February 13th about 10 people were layed-off and February 16th a positive review was written, coincidence???? I think not. The people I worked with are hard working individuals who are over worked and severally underpaid. Starting salary is 25-27k with no chance at a raise. When other employees would try to ask for a raise they were ridiculed and told that they would never find jobs elsewhere that would pay them more and to be happy with what they had here. Most college grads put up with this for one year so they can add that they have professional work experience on their resume and then leave. Turn-over whether lay-offs or people leaving for better jobs is frequent. Josh Levey doesn't understand that to build a successful company you need to start small and retain irreplaceable employees, then slowly expand. After some success in the early years at CMS he built an addition to the office and blew through whatever savings he had. When our biggest client dropped us Josh had to lay-off most of the company right away because he had no rainy day fund. He has tried to rent out the space but it remains empty to this day. There is no incentive to stay at CMS Solutions with no chance at a raise and the terrible benefits that are offered. The first few years at CMS you only receive 5 vacation days and 6 sick days. The health insurance is outrageously expensive it's about $200/paycheck, that's right not per month but per paycheck. When I first met with HR to discuss benefit plans she told me verbatim "Here's your medical benefits package... well you're under 26 so you can still stay on your parents health insurance for now at least." If Josh wasn't happy with your work he would always make comments saying that what you did wasn't hard and that he could learn it and do it better. If you told him that you needed to delegate a project out he would also decide that he would do it himself so it would be done right. He would then not have the time to work on the project and it would fall through the cracks and somehow be your fault. I think one of Josh's favorite past times was to hold meetings in which employees especially interns would emerge crying. He thought that to motivate people he needed to tear them down publicly. I never felt as though he appreciated the work I or anyone else did or the long hours we all spent there. Josh would also have us spend a lot of time on projects that he came up with and wouldn't bring money into the company. These projects were a "priority" over clients projects and would put us behind on major deadlines. I think in his desperation, Josh would create new sister companies that he thought would help bring in revenue to CMS. Most companies died off after a month but the ones that stuck around suck the time away from employees who have actual work with paying clients at CMS Solutions. I would love to warn all future clients to steer clear of this company as I am sure it will eventually go under. The quality of services is also not up to standards because the amount of work the remaining staff have has probably tripled in the last year. On the CMS website they still offer services that they no longer provide since all the workers were layed-off (call center and website services). Also all the images of people on the website are supposed to be current workers at CMS Solutions but I would say only 10% still work there and that's being generous. I still can't believe I ever worked here.

Pros

Co-workers were awesome! Also, it was a variety of experience. It also taught me how to deal with toxic management and respond to hostile work environments.

Cons

The CEO was unprofessional. The language that he used to communicate with employees was tacky and harsh. Also, everyone walked on pins and needles for fear of getting fired. This is the most toxic place I've ever worked. It took years for me to believe in my abilities again after leaving this place.

Pros

There are a lot of young people at this company, which was an advantage out of college.

Cons

1) The pay is ridiculous - You can expect 25,000 which you actually can not live on, and is not a sufficient or fair income for someone who has graduated college. They refuse to pay for your worth at this company, and will give you negative comments to justify not having to pay you. 2) Josh Levey is the most arrogant human being I've ever met. He functions off of immorality and manipulation to run his business. He will flirt with the young girls as well, and favor them (I was one of them he did it with). He is unprofessional. I regret ever working for this company. In fact, I do not place it on my resume and when I left - they begged me to stay. I did not leave on bad terms, but I am so happy to be gone. No one lasts more than 6 months at this company and for good reason. Find a more reputable company who will you pay you and treat you well.
