      Co-workers make or break the job. Great learning opportunity. Ability to work autonomously; great work done in communities.

      Disconnectedness between departments; little appreciation shown to some employees; constantly putting out fires.

      Teams of learned professionals. Some schedule flexibility.

      Cons

      Promised salary increases and bonus incentives at hiring that did not occur. Sr mgmt did Not support staff input . Kept building the plane while trying to fly it. Sacrificed staff who did not follow the program. High turnover rate

      Pros

      The company's work increases the supply and quality of low-income housing, so is meaningful work. The atmosphere is professional but also friendly. Most of the people I worked with were intelligent, responsible, and took pride in their work.

      Many employees were under a lot of time pressure, which can hinder an interns ability to talk with and learn from those with experience
