Self- described 20 year startup means you can't figure things out

Pros

Very friendly co-workers, great location in Austin tx.

Cons

sales over promises and causes under delivery. too much work and not enough people. managers work 11 and 12 hour days without lunch. no direction, projects fall short, high pressure to succeed, repeat mistakes, no training, figure it out as you go and sink or swim. promotions are rare and raises are rarer.

Sad start-up with Boys Club mentality

Total boys club atmosphere. If you’re a strong woman with a strong opinion and if you god forbid attempt to stick up for yourself, watch out! Some of the senior Men and some women in this company can treat you poorly, but when you attempt to stand your ground, your singled out. They will also run you into the ground and make you quit. Most people here go out on work injuries, have their hands in slings or suffer other work related injuries. Just awful. Nothing I’ve ever seen. There is 0 to no training, no direction. A very poor experience.

Field Service Engineer

Pros

Training is very good, and makes sure that you are prepared before you go out in the field. Compensation is decent for being straight out of college.

Cons

Management is not that great, my manager had no experience in field service, so he did not understand my job whatsoever. That makes it difficult for management to make important decisions.
