Relaxed Family-run work environment

Pros

Most employees lived locally. Flex schedule. Easygoing management. Easy for anyone to affect change. Customer focused approach. Fix first, ask questions later. Decent pay.

Cons

Glass ceiling. This was a family owned and run business. Nobody outside of the family will ever have ownership or executive level roles. Family does not invest in the growth of the company - just maximize return on their pockets.

Pros

Flex hours, sense of trust when working going in and out of building, open to suggestions, challenge employees to make the process work efficiently.

Cons

Challenges to communicate "real-life" business application and apply to daily course of work, Family-run business geared towards supporting an iron wall "code of silence" in day to day activity.
