Pros

They are a contributor to railroad retirement but beyond that have nothing for them personally. If you are able to make the same money in another career then do so and invest yourself in you own retirement.

Cons

Retaliatory and vindictive toward labor. The newest company wide trend is the ramping up of their aggression toward the transportation crews and a new willingness to forsake the customer in order to lower wage commitments and make life more uncomfortable for the work force. If you are greedy at any cost it may be for you but as a man of strong moral values I am looking for an exit strategy. Even at 96K/yr I can not tolerate being abused like this.
