Pros

There are 7 manufacturing factories across the US. The managers at the manufacturing sites are good people.

Cons

CTI Foods could be a strong organization where people can find a home. Unfortunately, it was infiltrated by Kraft professionals at several key management levels and they will continue to "circle the drain" as long as these people are allowed to persist. You can forget about making bonus because the Kraft managers are killing this business. Until the Private Equity Owners come in and clean house of the Kraft people, this business is destined to fail. There is a reason why Kraft had it's failures and these people came to CTI Foods. An example of the dishonesty is a Company Call where the CEO announced that the Azusa site had an extremely successful SAP implementation and that they would help roll this out to the other sites. Many people involved know that the Azusa SAP implementation was handled completely inappropriately, poor planning, poor execution and the result is that subsequent SAP site implementations were later scrapped. Again, some of the traditional manufacturing managers are fantastic people and I would work for them. But if you get in on the Integrated Business Planning side - RUN!!!! The manager is the worst in the business. He purposely creates a stressful work environment that will affect your health. He actually makes up work to keep you there extended hours. He made a point to take every negative management circumstance from his past and impose these tactics on his team. This is the reason that his ENTIRE TEAM is now gone - all left. You do NOT want to be part of this. In addition, I brought written details, with dates, examples and witnesses to Human Resources. The head of HR said all the right things, promised to interview several other people identified, provide feedback and work toward fixing the problem. In the end, she only interviewed one person I know of, which was my co-worker in the same boat. Other key people who where identified were NEVER contacted. I know as I spoke with them. One person had to call her! I didn't even get an exit interview, neither did my co-worker when he quit a month later, neither did a key manager in Azusa who had over 20 years with the company! They absolutely don't care about people and don't care about company improvements.
