good benefits (dental, health, 401k match up to 3%)

Cons

10 days of vacation a year, not compensated fairly, poor communication between management and employees, presidents are more concerned with acquiring new banks than maintaining good relationships with current clients, no workplace camaraderie whatsoever, most people I know who work here are looking for new jobs

This was a good company to work for before Superior Bank bought them out.

Cons

Management was only interested in protecting their jobs and salaries. Employees with any knowledge of banking and accompanying regulations were laid off, fired or pressured to quit . Unbelievable bullying and backstabbing were daily occurrences. I was told by senior management that my manager was not hired to know my job and how it worked, but was hired to simply manage me. I was pulled aside and told not to give any help or info to FDIC the night they took over the bank.

The location off Hwy. 280 was convenient.

Cons

I have been in banking for 25+ years and Cadence Bank is the most unprofessionally managed bank. They refused to pay employees yearly bonuses after they either quit or were laid off. There was constant harassment by department managers and the staff in HR continued to allow the harassment. Stay away from Cadence Bank.
