      Pros

      During my time at Cadre, I was fortunate to work with a team that was both talented and supportive. The coworkers fostered a collaborative environment where knowledge-sharing was common and professional growth was encouraged. It was a great place to develop skills while working on meaningful and interesting problems.

      Cons

      There were some challenges with the management structure and communication, which occasionally made it difficult to align on priorities and direction. While not a major deterrent, these issues did affect the overall efficiency and clarity at times.

      Gain experience in traditional real estate finance as everyone comes from blue chip private equity and/or banking background but firm sits within a very innovative mature startup in Yieldstreet, so there's a lot of technology and startup exposure with that

      Cons

      Cultural clash between Cadre and parent company Yieldstreet following Cadre's acquisition in early 2024. This obviously takes sometime to address as Cadre was essentially a separate company within a much larger company
