Pros
You can learn a lot about the industry. You will wear a lot of hats. Job is deadline oriented so time-management is a key skill. Most designers won't have to pattern-make, but you will here, which is a good skill to have. Good for kids fresh out of school who don't know any better. You'll learn.
Cons
Salary isn't great. Zero room for growth. Toxic work environment, low morale. Expect to be thrown to the wolves with little support for success. Be prepared to be screamed at by HR. It's disappointing to have so much talent at one place, and yet everyone is unhappy.
