Pros

The work itself and interaction with patients is the best part.

Cons

Old equipment and lack of supplies, day staff overbooks leaving night staff with 3 patients. Management will reduce your hours or cancel shifts if you speak out about any of the problems in the office. CEO is completely unprofessional, cussing and yelling at employees, often insulting employees, would threaten of pay cut or hours cut if you question the legitimacy of their request/business practice. Management just really makes it a miserable place to work. If you stand up to them at all, they'll write you up for stuff you didn't do or simple mistakes that no one else would get written up for if they did it. You couldn't pay me enough to go back and work there.

Pros

Great benefits (if you're single), great techs, easy to become hired if you have no experience. ,

Cons

California Sleep Solutions offers very little paying jobs (in comparison to other sleep labs). There s very little management experience for those who are in management. Most of them, friends and family. Many of them have no experience in this field or in a professional environment. I have never felt so belittled by management in my life. They sign on new technicians with very little to no experience by making them sign a contract. Most of the people are desperate to work. They, in my opinion, take advantage of recently school people, and those who work in non hospital environments. The night technicians rarely have working equipment, and are forced to take on more patients then they can handle. Several technicians have reported cases of eves dropping (including hiding behind objects while techs are working at night.) Techs are untrusted there, and are not even allowed to access necessary supplies. I have not worked here in a while, but I am sure their practices have not changed.

Pros

The only pro is having a paycheck.

Cons

Do you love having your time wasted? Do you love high school drama? Do you love working with insecure and spineless humans? Do you love double-standards and favoritism? Then this is the company for you! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ HORRIBLE PTO - you only get 3 days off the first year. Company issues write ups for employees who miss work due to health issues. Benefits are a joke. High out of pocket cost. Zero room for growth. Company hires from the outside rather than promoting from within. Company does not promote a team player environment. There is blatant disrespect and belittling of staff members. Particular people use yelling as a tactic for overpowering others. Staff isn't trained, they are micromanaged because supervisors have no real training themselves. Senior staff have no qualifications for supervising other staff members, they have simply put in the most amount of time with the company. Most senior staff are complacent and do not try. No attempt to innovate, improve or revise processes. Company allows employees to make death threats on online suggestion box, and rather than removing the employee they take the suggestion box down, sweeping evidence under the rug. Company flip flops from one idea to the next every week. It is impossible to get anything done with no consistency. Company openly shares information with friends and other employees. What you share with HR is not kept in confidence. Company makes you write a glassdoor review within your first 30 days to make sure they have good reviews documented. Company exploits new hires to sway the image of the company online.
