Pros

Free lunches every other Wednesday

Cons

Poor management in the REACH and FSP team. They promote a hostile work environment as well promote that co-workers should report on each other. The Program directors of FSP and Reach don’t want don’t want gossip among the other employees but then want to you tell them about what other employees said. Poor boundaries. Lack of training for the job. Confusion around scheduling. Feeling disrespected and not feeling see and heard.

Pros

The clients, coworkers, clinical supervision.

Cons

This agency is not what it used to be. Major changes in upper management, complete disconnect with "frontline" case managers. Under trained/incompetent supervisor in the REACH program with no clinical or therapeutic knowledge. They exploit their employees with unrealistic expectations and workload. Employees are expected to work overtime without compensation and reprimanded if they don't complete work or ask for support. Instead of asking questions and finding solutions to support case managers , management brings in HR to provide a "pep talk" that this work is simple and all case managers need to do is see clients, write timely notes, and return phone calls. Management thinks "change" is normal and does not question why there is such a high turnover rate. If you want to feel underpaid, under valued, demoralized and overworked, this place is for you.

Pros

Amazing clients, talented case managers

Cons

REACH management is incompetent. They have no mental health background, virtually no clinical knowledge, and little empathy for the clients we serve. They are aware of their shortcomings, so in my opinion they rely on scare tactics and power plays to control and silence their employees. The workload is completely unrealistic. Expect to be punished or even terminated if you try to ask questions, speak up, or ask for support. Extremely high turn over rate due to lies and lack of transparency from management. Very sad for the clients who are ultimately impacted by this.
