      Pros

      Met so many lovely people whilst working here during the summer and the kids I had were lovely to me.

      Cons

      Under appreciated by management. I was left looking after 9 kids myself after 2 of my councillors left and management didn't notice until it was brought up during staff meeting. Instead of 2 hours off a day 8 I had one hour off... If I was on duty I would be awake at 7, have 1 hour off and then sign off at half 12! It's very far out and many taxi companies do not like picking or dropping off people at camp. We had to rely on business owners in Port jervis to take us back.

      Pros

      - The kids (some of them) - The opportunity to work in the states - Get to meet so many great people (the other staff get you through)

      Cons

      - Management treat you like dirt - Don't get to participate in anything as a staff member - You are the kids slave - Older children get very offensive - Kids run the show they will get you fired if they don't like you - You will also get told you can get fired multiple times a day - Have good values but don't enforce them

      Pros

      Any pros, they don't care about the staff and are really rude with them, remember this, they are insanely unworried about the staff, at the point of don't feed you.

      Cons

      They don't let you use absolutely any activity or hall inside of the camp including the lake, they say that in your day off you can leave the camp, but they don't really care that there are absolutely nothing to do around the town and they don't worry to take you anywhere. Don't apply to Lokanda, if your plan is to not be afraid to be fired all the time. This is not a hate comment, I'm just writing my experience, Ronen and Deina are extremely stingy
