Amazing staff and coordinators who do their best to give you all the tools you need to succeed at your job! I worked at Camp Mac for four summers over three staff levels and loved getting to work with my fellow staff to give campers the best summer possible. The coordinators over my staff groups were awesome. They grew up coming to camp and have been working there for several years, and they were a great resource of mentorship to help me be the best counselor I could be.
Cons
Long hours! Sometimes felt like I was being micromanaged, but then again, it is a summer camp and when counselors are directly responsible for their campers, that's probably a good thing.
