Pros

This company is not good at all. They treat their employees like slaves. If you love your life and care about something stay as far away as possible. Nobody matters expect their fake promises for a better work culture. Management is abusive and takes advantage of students on visa. No employee would be surprised if they are sued for breaking labor laws. They don’t have any pros. Don’t get tricked in accepting their fake promises when accepting their offer. Other reviews are fake put their by HR.

Cons

No good healthcare No bonus Pay is 20-30% less than median of the role but you work more than 50 hrs. No growth No benefits

Campfire Interactive is a thriving company and a market leader serving many of the world’s largest, most complex automotive suppliers as customers. Campfire consistently wins business against the top enterprise software companies. This is a demanding environment, but one in which our employees thrive on the learning, impact, teamwork and varied opportunities it provides. While working hours can often be long, this has not impacted employee retention, as our average tenure is 5+ years and 30% of our employees have been with Campfire 10+ years--an anomaly for a technology company! In recognition of the hard work, Campfire provides additional paid company holidays in the form of many 3-day weekends and extended breaks around the holidays. In addition, our remote work environment provides flexibility for a better work/life balance. Campfire offers a comprehensive and highly competitive set of benefits – health, dental, vision, 401k, ST/LT disability and life, with many being offered at no cost to the employee. We also provide annual performance bonuses and salary increases. This year alone, employees have benefited from two rounds of salary increases. All of Campfire employees have equity ownership in our company; that percentage is significantly above tech company average. In fact, at our recent funding round, all employees received a large cash payout from their equity ownership. Employee sponsorship is another area of success for Campfire. We have a great track record of supporting immigration for employees that require company sponsorship. Our open-door policy is important to Campfire! We encourage openness and transparency to eliminate any communication barriers between employees and the company leadership.

Pros

Free lunch on last Friday of the month

Cons

60 hours work week, very very less salary, micromanagement, no innovation, no recognition, no raises, adamant and headstrong owners, expect to receive a call at 2:00 am in the morning - oh, not for production issues rather for owners personal issues/ideas with products, no career growth, your life is dedicated to this company, forget your personal life. One of the owners is pradeep. He is money minded. After your interviews, He calls and tell you, you got the job and tells they will give you 85k for ex. Now you are happy and your mindset is changed. You stop looking for the jobs outside. He will tell you different stories and drag the opportunity for four months. Then, he will say we can only offer you 65k with no insurance. Problem is you lost 4 months of time and you can't start over for job search. Especially in Michigan. All my colleagues went through the same pattern. Very disappointed in this company.

In response to the review, rather than refute all of the inaccuracies, I feel it is more important to take the opportunity to mention that Campfire, as a company, has an open door policy and the owners and managers are always available to discuss any concerns from current employees or address any concerns that a potential candidate might have if considering employment with Campfire. It is also important to mention that we are a small company with an outstanding retention rate, with the majority of our employees having been with us for more than 5 years. That being said, we are always looking to add talented and hard-working people to our team. If you are an employee and have concerns, please let us know. We are always interested in understanding an employee’s perspective and are willing to work together to identify ways to improve the work environment for all of the employees. If you are not an employee and are interested in finding out more about Campfire, we would encourage you to call our offices and schedule a meeting.

Pros

As an individual very experienced in sales I wanted to join a company that has a really good product, sells to premier brand companies in automotive and targets the C-suite of a business – that is exactly what Campfire has provided me. Company spends an extraordinary amount of time in software development and all aspects of customer engagement – with management obsessively preparing for the meetings. This makes my job easier - It is not uncommon for an audience to clap after a detailed product demo. It is truly an outstanding solution with huge potential. Pros - There is a strong family culture to this company – management cares about employees. I have been given many opportunities to grow in my role and expand my skill set. There’s a high level of commitment from every member of the team.

Cons

This is a demanding environment and you need to be prepared to bring your “A” game every day.
