Pros

Free food and paid holidays

Cons

Basically every thing of this job is a con. When you start the job they promise you the world, then when you get to your kitchen and start working you barely hear from them again. Supervisors are a joke, they work from home and come visit your kitchen once a year so they’re no help at all. Don’t ever plan on getting sick because if you do you will just have to come to work sick because there’s no one to pick up your slack. They have “chef on demands” but they aren’t used for people getting sick. Worked for this company four years and never called in sick once. The whole work life balance spiel they have is a joke. Some accounts are six days a week. So plan on working 10+ hours a day six days a week with no help. Saturday’s are quite frequent too with no option to say no to extra events . Revolving door of upper staff so you never know who to go to if things aren’t going right with your supervisor. Which they never are. You will begin to feel you only work for your sorority/fraternity house rather than Campus Cooks so your communication with the company will get less and less over the years. Plan on moving up in the company? Fa get aboutit!!! Unless you live in an area close to headquarter or are a male you aren’t going anywhere. Especially if your account likes you they will do everything to keep you. Getting a new job with an excellent company really has made me realize what a crappy company this is. Even when you’re off work you aren’t done with work because you have to come up with new and exciting meals to keep girls and guys that only want Mac n cheese and chicken tenders 23/7. You’re a cafeteria worker not a chef in this position. You will lose all drive of living food when you leave this place.

Pros

The only pro is that they regularly have free food items to consume. No other pros worth justifying working here.

Cons

The office structure is a hoax. They sell themselves to potential employees by staying they have a "relaxed" environment but nothing can be further from the truth. Management is uptight and watches you closely and criticizes your every move like going for a 5-minute walk. Then if they don't like you, they create a pretty excuse to get rid of you. There's no bounds here.

Pros

Good Pay, Benefits, Good Schedule, Creative Freedom

Cons

Manipulative Managers, Racist Mentality, Irresponsible HR Department Management has given 4 people jobs with no intention on keeping them around & manipulated them into getting fired with weeks. This company HATES culinary school graduates! They find ways to get them fired after hiring them! This company also HATES black chefs! Especially if you are a woman! This abuse is so drastic that they should've been hit with a lawsuit by now.
