Pros

Amazing co workers. Quiet during the weekday evenings.

Cons

I get all of the complaints and ripped on about other departments, mainly about the cleanliness of rooms. I’ve had to miss class several times in order to get to work on time. Head office always complains about every little thing, but yet don’t offer solutions. Hired as a part time employee but working full time.

It can be fun and relaxed compared to working at other hotels. All staff get a sweet deal on rooms at any location. There are some good managers who I enjoy working with.

Cons

Management is constantly, constantly changing and it makes it hard to do your job properly. Fired someone who worked here for 10 years with no notice because they no longer needed his position only to hire someone in that position a year later. After that I wanted no future with this company. All the good managers leave and all the rotten ones stay.

Canad inns is a fairly new company with a lot of inexperienced management. a lot of title but not a lot of production. Can quickly grow in this company if you can stick it out.

Cons

Poor pay scale. a lot of turnover with superiors having no clue as to what is going on . depend on long term staff to answer questions but do not want to pay them to stick it out.
