Pros

CLC offers a secure environment for beginners to delve into technology. The events are not only free but also CLC occasionally collaborates with reputable institutions to provide participants with the opportunity to earn certificates or diplomas at no/low cost.

Cons

you can learn much more online, but still a good start

Pros

The mission of the org is really great love it. The work that we do and the orgs we get to work with are always exciting. The impact you get to make is amazing. Coworkers are amazing.

Cons

Like any Non-profit, there is a lot of cool-aid drinking happening in the upper levels of the org. For that outside of the Senior team if you're not drinking the Kool-Aid that's a problem. I have seen staff fired for questioning why management is doing this a certain way without asking the team what it might effects. No room for advancement here, they will always hire externally. While the org is to support POCS they don't have many on staff.
