Shift work is 2 weeks on/off rotational work from May to August with full-time pay plus overtime and travel benefits. Challenging, dynamic work. No two situations are the same. Must be able to work in a team, sometimes endure harsh climates, and be adaptable. Pay is $15.50/hour base rate. Great for anyone interested in working in the medical field because you get TONS of first hand experience treating patients at a basic level of emergency care.

Cons

Phoenix Pay System has affected student in the past, but management works hard to mitigate pay issues.

Some of the people are great, time on and off is equal. Can count on crew change being exactly every 4 weeks on the hour. Hands on work depending on the ship

THEY DON'T PAY!! The reason we go to work is to make a living unless you are a volunteer. The whole fleet has experienced pay issues. I have been getting shafted on pay for two years since the Phoenix rollout. Currently getting 500$ clawed back from every paycheque because the phoenix system glitches constantly and doesn't have a hope in hell of working properly. Pay stubs are incomprehensible. Pay centre denies there being any issues with pay, if you can even get though!!
