      Free training/Professional development Occasional free food

      Cons

      -A horrible, vile place to work. Negative, bullying managers and an oppressive office environment. -Management has strong personalities but not positive healthy people skills. -Fear based management type -Non meritorious boot-licking culture -Extremely high attrition rate.

      Pros

      - A close and friendship driven work environment.

      Cons

      - The CPSA's mission/products are poorly adopted and widely unpopular. - Management team is completely disconnected from the day-to-day realities of the business. - Very high employee turnover in all departments (combination of fired and quit) due to poor leadership and extremely low employee moral in all departments. - Archaic processes and non-existent investment in people or technology. - Terrible compensation and benefits (no RRSP contributions, etc.)

      Pros

      Great place to work if you don't cause waves or challenge the status quo.

      Cons

      If you stay long enough and enough people leave the association you will be promoted whether you are qualified or not. Second if you know anyone in senior management or are a relative, chances are good you'll have a part time or permanent job. Do not take an senior management position in sales or marketing. You will have a very short tenure.
