      Pros

      You will get first-hand experience in how a company should not be managed

      Cons

      The cons are too numerous to mention, and have been well covered by other posts. It took a while to realize how toxic this company really is. They have been having serious problems with employee retention and are struggling to hire replacements, but instead of realizing their management is the problem, they simply double down on their poor management practices instead.

      You Live with the Stress of Deadlines and Fear of Job Loss

      Pros

      They have some team building activities in which all of us pretended that this workplace wasn't messed up and we weren't scared of losing our jobs.

      Cons

      If you want to experience what a jail feels like, join Canary Systems. The work stress is horrible as you will be asked to chase one deadline after another. Even if you do that consistently by working brutal hours and having a terrible WLB, they might still fire you. The management loves no one!
