Very low end golf club.

Pros

Positive encouragement. Lots of freedom at times. A good portion of the members are cool, especially if you act positive and professional.

Cons

Pay is pretty horrible, especially for management. Very limited recources to get the job done. Management is all golf people and know very little of what it takes to properly run a Food & Beverage Department. Very limited support at times to lower management.

Pros

Possible career growth but you must be within the "inner circle". Country club environment allows for daily interaction with members, guests and employees.

Cons

Managemtent is out of touch with their employees. Decisions are made at the corporate level by leadership that only appears at the facility once every 3 months or so. The decisions are made hastily and are fueled by personal emotion. Employees are help accountable for unrealistic budgetary expectations and policies that do not work. If you are looking for job stability, this is not the company for you. Turnover is rampant and the golf business is struggling.
