Great people, everyone is very helpful. Senior management are very approachable and you have autonomy on your work. Ability to work with different functions.

Cons

Difficult to see progression path. Sometimes work can be dull and too much admin.

Pros

Most employees get to visit the London HD, the Chicago office is in a good location for commuters.

Cons

Canopius US has incredibly toxic and incompetent leadership, employee turnover is unmatched, there is a suffocating amount of virtue signaling, there is a very low standard for the accuracy of internal/external reporting.

Pros

Good social life and work life balance, amazing office, good compensation.

Cons

Terrible management, ruthless in getting rid of people. Training non existences, there technology is dated. Be very suspicious if you decide to work for this company. Reminds me of the Tom Cruise film “The Firm” of how they deal with there staff. Maybe its better if your in underwriting, but support staff watch your back, you can be out in a matter of days if your face don’t fit in!
